Miranda Nickelston is a graduate of Elon University School of Law in North Carolina, where she was a Presidential Scholar and active in multiple advocacy, public interest, and constitutional law programs and clinics. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a focus on behavioral engineering from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington.
Following law school, Miranda began structuring and negotiating commercial contracts across a range of industries, including education, energy, construction, and related corporate matters, for a subsidiary of a Fortune 200 company. She now manages the organization’s legal and compliance functions, overseeing legal matters, including negotiation of complex commercial agreements, regulatory compliance, intellectual property portfolio management, and other transactional and corporate matters. At McFarland Ritter, Miranda’s practice also includes assisting clients with civil litigation matters.
Apart from the law, Miranda enjoys exploring the Treasure Valley with her husband, Zander, their two children, and their dog, McQueen (named after Lightning, not Steve).
